Cassie grew up in Woodford County, is a 2001 graduate of WCHS, and believes that her values of hard work, community, and service were shaped by the people and traditions of the County. It is the reason she chose to build her career and raise her family here. Whether attending various WCHS sporting events at Community Stadium, enjoying her running hobby via various routes around Versailles, or watching the KSU marching band bring down the house at the annual Christmas parade, Cassie understands what makes Woodford County the best place to live and work.

Raising Our Family in Woodford

Cassie and her husband, Chris, are raising their 3 children, Harris, Ruby, and Emmett, in Woodford County because, like many families here, they know and appreciate the special place that it is. Cassie knows the difference that the office of County Attorney makes in the community, and is running for Woodford County Attorney to maintain the safety and character of this place we call home, for her children and yours.

Serving Woodford County

Cassie has practiced law in Woodford County since 2008. She previously served as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for the 14th Judicial Circuit and, since 2019, has proudly served as an Assistant Woodford County Attorney. Cassie is honored to have been selected twice to serve on the Versailles Police Department (VPD) Sergeant Promotional Board, has gladly volunteered time to present estate planning basics to some of our first responders at the VPD and Versailles Fire Department, and proudly serves on the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Experience That Matters

As an Assistant Woodford County Attorney, Cassie understands the role and duties of the office of County Attorney, including: prosecuting misdemeanor and traffic cases, conducting felony preliminary hearings, serving as legal advisor to the Fiscal Court and other local agencies, establishing and enforcing child support orders, representing the Commonwealth in juvenile public offense, status offense, and DNA cases, assisting families in Casey's Law and disability guardianship proceedings, among many other important roles.
